ARC Future Fellowship (2017-2021) Creativity in Education and Industry in East Asia and Australia (Australian Research Council Project #FT170100022) explores the socio-cultural creative ecologies patterns in 5 sites across East Asia and Australia. It combines conventional mixed methods (600+ surveys with higher education students and 125 interviews with creative/cultural industry professionals and educators) with applied creative methods (5 theatre devising workshops, performances and discussions, and a selfie gallery). In addition to exploring the site-specificity of creativity, the study also investigates the compatibility of higher education training in creative skills, to meet current and future regional workplace demands.
